Description Belfry in tower of St Michael and All Angels Church, Beckwithshaw, North Yorkshire, England. The legend on the bells says "Mears & Stainbank Founders London". There is no public access to the belfry or roof. View looking towards the south-east corner, with pulley-wheels of bells 5 in right foreground, and 3 in right background. On the left can be seen bell 1 and its pulley-wheel. In the full-sized image you can just see "JOSH", i.e. part of the name "Joshua" on bell 1, engraved halfway down the side of the bell, below the word "founders".
