Summary

[edit]
Description St Michael and All Angels Church, Beckwithshaw, North Yorkshire, England. Piece of wrought iron balustrade at top of spiral staircase leading to bellringers' chamber. The redpaint is rustproofing. This item has been designed - almost certainly by architect William Swinden Barber, who designed and contracte the workmanship of all features of his interiors. Barber would have expected only the bellringers to see this on a regular basis.
