Description
English: Image of a shatter cone collected by Chris Anderson and Terry Wofford on 21 July 2013 in the Medicine Lodge Valley of Western Montana, USA. The fracture pattern in this sandstone is indicative of having been formed by a large meteorite impact, in this case the Beaverhead Impact centered near Challis, Idaho, USA.
