Beaver Pond at the Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge provides habitat to a variety of bird species like ducks, geese, herons and kingfishers. Some times you may even find a moose or a bear roaming the shoreline as well, but as the name would suggest, the beavers are the main characters keeping the water levels in check.
