Title
Bead of uncertain date
Description
English: A dark grey coloured, probably copper alloy, bead of unknown date, possibly Roman. It is approximately an oblate spheroid, flattened at top and bottom and has circular perforations on each of the two flat faces. The bead is 15.40mm in diameter and 13.77mm between the two flattened faces on one side, but c 11.30mm on the other. The perforations measure 5.25mm in diameter at one end, 7.40mm at the other and the internal surfaces are concave, the 'walls' of the bead c3mm thick. It is effectively a hollow bead. One part of the wider perforation is apparently worn away by whatever ran through it.

it weighs 8.27g.
