English: Beacon near Birk Brow Road. This photograph shows a view of the beacon near the car park at the top of Birk Brow Road. Two vehicles can just be seen in the car park; there is also a refreshments van there - but it is not visible in this picture. The photograph was taken during a fall of snow looking in a south-westerly direction towards the A171 road that lies beyond the car park. A view of the beacon without the surrounding snow would like like this: 39944 . |
