English: Beach and Channel, Cockerham Sands The water is part of the Broad fleet channel running into the Lune channel. Heysham Nuclear Power Station can be seen beyond. It was a long walk over soft sands to get to this point. The tide comes in very fast here so not a good area for a leisurely walk. |
