Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Beach Between St Combs and Rattray Head. This is a rather awkward square, to put it mildly. The only land is a few square metres of sand exposed only at low spring tides. Today was the lowest tide of the autumn. Low tide was at 18.53 and sunset at 18.56. This was taken at 18.44, and I only just made it back to my car before it got too dark to see where I was going. The light at Rattray Head Lighthouse in NK1157 can be seen at left. Access across the dunes involved wading through the drainage canal 556690 and three times through the river each way, so I ended up with sodden footwear and jeans into the bargain.
