  • mentionné dans l'Inventaire des tableaux appartenant à l'Académie royale de Peinture et de Sculpture fait et donné par messieurs les académiciens à leurs réceptions… réalisé en 1682 par de Sève à la demande de Beaubrun, sous le n°40 ;
  • fait l'objet d'une conférence à l'Académie royale par Guillet de Saint-Georges lors de la séance du 4 mai 1686 ;
  • mentionné dans la 'Description de l'Académie royale' de Guérin, 1715 ;
  • mentionné dans la Description sommaire (...) de Dézallier d'Argenville parmi les oeuvres exposées dans la Galerie d'Apollon "vis à vis des fenêtres, 1781 ;
