| Description |
English: Battle Lodge & Gate Piers This Lodge, located prominently at a road junction, originally fronted the carriage drive that extended a few miles south-west to Ashburnham Place, via another Lodge and Gates, see TQ7115. Battle Lodge is dated 1835 over the doorway and its plan is in the form of a cross. Together with the gate piers, three iron gates and boundary wall of Ashburnham Place, Battle Lodge is Grade II listed. |
