Description
English: Bather, also known as Venus. Marble, exhibited at the Salon of 1767. Louis XV of France presented Madame Du Barry with the statue in 1772; she placed it in the gardens of her castle at Louveciennes.
Français : Baigneuse, également connue comme Vénus. Marbre, présenté au Salon de 1767. Louis XV offrit la statue en 1772 à Madame Du Barry, qui la fit placer dans le parc de son château de Louveciennes.
