Summary

[edit]
Description The Basler Rezepte (Basel recipies, or Fulda recipies) are 3 medieval medical recipies, the first one in Latin, the second one is the translation of the first into a mixed Old-Bavarian/Old-Frankonian. The third recipie (uuidhar cancur - against cancer) is written in a very old form of Bavarian with either Gothic, Old-English or Old-Saxonian influence. The manuscript was written in the 8th century in the monastry of Fulda and is today in the university library in Basel, Switzerland.
