English: View of the tower of "Basílica del Santísimo Sacramento (Holy Sacrament Basilica)" of Buenos Aires. The photo depicts a statue of Father Eymard showing the sacrament to people.
The basilica, located on San Martín street of Retiro, Buenos Aires, was inaugurated in 1914, after a donation by Mercedes Castellanos (1840-1920), designed by architect Coulomb and Chauvet. Works were supervised by priest Ernesto Vespignani.[1] |
