English: The sign pillar at the old center of Sendai, at the northwest corner of Bashō no Tsuji in Omachi 1 chōme, Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Right tow letters are Road (道) and Sign (標). Left letters says "SOUTH: To the Nihonbashi of Edo, 69 post-towns, 93 ri (about 350 kilometers), via Ōshū Kaidō".
