English: This volume from the Carthusian Monastery of Basel contains prayers and meditations by various authors, but most of them written by, or at least attributed to, Anselm of Canterbury. In addition, there is an instruction in spiritual exercises for novices and a Passion of Christ compiled from all four Gospels by Heinrich Arnoldi. Texts by other Carthusian authors are also represented. The codex was written by Martin Ströulin, a Carthusian from Basel.
Deutsch: Der Band aus der Basler Kartause enthält Gebete und Meditationen verschiedener Urheberschaft, grossenteils aber von Anselm von Canterbury oder ihm zumindest zugeschrieben. Daneben steht eine Anleitung in geistlichen Übungen für Novizen und eine aus allen vier Evangelien kompilierte Passion Christi von Heinrich Arnoldi. Auch Texte weiterer kartäusischer Autoren sind vertreten. Geschrieben wurde der Codex vom Basler Kartäuser Martin Ströulin.
Français : Le volume provenant de la chartreuse de Bâle contient des prières et des méditations de divers auteurs, en particulier d’Anselme de Canterbury, ou qui lui sont attribués. En plus de ces textes figurent des exercices spirituels pour les novices, ainsi qu’une Passion du Christ compilée par Heinrich Arnoldi à partir des quatre évangiles. Il contient aussi des textes d’auteurs chartreux. Le manuscrit a été copié par le chatreux de Bâle Martin Ströulin.
Italiano: Il volume, proveniente dalla certosa di Basilea, contiene preghiere e meditazioni di vari autori, per lo più di Anselmo di Canterbury, o quanto meno a lui attribuiti. Inoltre vi è un'istruzione agli esercizi spirituali per i novizi e una Passione di Cristo, compilata da Heinrich Arnoldi sulla base di tutti e quattro i Vangeli. Contiene anche testi di altri autori certosini. Il codice è stato scritto dal certosino di Basilea Martin Ströulin. |
