English: Manuscripts AN II 36 and AN II 37 together constitute a complete Bible in German. This is a copy of the so-called “Mentelin Bible” [printed in Strasbourg by Johannes Mentelin, prior to 27 June 1466] and of the “Pflanzmannbibel.” In the 17th century, both manuscripts were owned by Peter Werenfels (1627-1703), professor of theology and pastor at St. Leonhard in Basel.
Deutsch: Die Handschriften AN II 36 und AN II 37 bilden zusammen eine Vollbibel in deutscher Sprache. Es handelt sich um eine Abschrift der sogenannten „Mentelin-Bibel“ [gedruckt zu Strassburg bei Johann Mentelin, vor 27. Juni 1466] und der „Pflanzmannbibel“. Im 17. Jahrhundert befanden sich die beiden Handschriften im Besitz von Peter Werenfels (1627-1703), Theologieprofessor und Pfarrer zu St. Leonhard in Basel.
Français : Les manuscrits AN II 36 et AN II 37 forment ensemble une bible complète en langue allemande. Il s’agit d’une copie de la « Mentelin-Bibel » [imprimée à Strasbourg par Johann Mentelin, avant le 27 juin 1466] et de la « Pflanzmannbibel ». Au XVIIe siècle les deux manuscrits appartenaient à Peter Werenfels (1627-1703), professeur de théologie et curé de Saint-Léonard à Bâle.
