Description
Français : Quatrième vue d'une des faces de la deuxième base des obélisques que Ramsès II fit ériger à Athribis devant le temple d'Horus. La scène représente le roi faisant une offrande au dieu Horus Khenty-Khety, "Osiris qui réside à Athribis". Le dieu hiéracocéphale est représenté assis, la tête surmontée du disque solaire, tenant un long sceptre "heka" ; ses titres sont figurés devant et au dessus de sa tête. XIXe dynastie égyptienne - Jardin du Musée du Caire.
English: View of one of the sides of the base of the obelisks of Athribis for Rameses II, from the Temple of Horus. The scene represents the young pharaoh offering to the god Horus Khenty-Khety, "Osiris standing at Athribis". The god with a falcon's head is seat, the head topped by a solar disk, bringing a long "heka" sceptre ; his titles are upon his head. - 19th Dynasty of Egypt - Garden of the Cairo Museum (photo 15-August-2005).
