Description
English: Base fragment of a Late Iron Age or Early Roman amphora (100 BC - AD 100). Length 110mm and width 90mm. The thickness of the wall of the vessel is about 13mm. Weight 450g.

The fabric of this vessel fragment is a reddish yellow colour (Munsell Color 5YR 6/6) and is evenly tempered with small unidentifiable inclusions. The fragment is partially covered with marine growth. It has old and abraded breaks.
