Deutsch: Basaltformation an der Westküste der kanarischen Insel Lanzarote (Spanien) von Los Hervideros (2006). Diese gigantische Basaltformation war bei den fast sechs Jahre dauernden Vulkanausbrüchen vom September 1730 bis April 1736 in der Gemeinde Yaiza entstanden, als sich die Lavaströme des Montana del Fuego ins Meer ergossen. Sie bedecken heute etwa 167 km² der Insel Lanzarote und gehören zum Nationalpark Timanfaya.
Im Hintergrund sind die Vulkankrater des Timanfaya-Gebirges erkennbar, im Vordergrund liegt seit knapp 300 Jahren unverändert lockere Vulkanasche.
