Description Basílica pontificia de San Miguel, situada en el corazón del Barrio de los Austrias, su fachada es una de las más bellas de Madrid (..para mí la más) fue construida entre 1739 y 1745, en principio el encargó fué al arquitecto Teodoro Ardemans, pero su construcción definitiva se debe a al italiano Giacomo Bonavía. Aquí estuvo enterrado el gran músico italiano Luigi Boccherini, que realizó la parte más importante de su carrera en la Corte madrileña, sus restos fueron finalmente reclamados por Mussolini y enviados a Italia.
