Locality: Hunan Province, China (Locality at mindat.org)
One of the most significant specimens I have seen from a small find of gemmy, golden barites with beautiful chisel terminations. These appeared with only a couple of dealers in very small numbers, and it is too bad, because they are truly SPECTACULAR barites. This one is actually most of a large vug FULL of BIG crystals, to 5 cm in length and 2.5 across. On a stand (and we can make one for you if requested), this is one of those specimens that can really dominate a case, a real showpiece with size, flash and fine crystals and fabulous aesthetics, at a not-unreasonable pricepoint. 22.3 x 15.3 x 12.7 cm
