Description
Español: Fotografía original en color sepia, sobre cartón, del político demócrata, militar, hombre de letras, estadista y periodista trasandino; gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires y Presidente de la nación Argentina entre 1862 y 1868. Aparece en perfil derecho de medio cuerpo, sentado. Guardada por la viuda de don Benjamín hasta su último instante. Se conserva dentro de una de las cajas fotográficas patrimoniales en la bóveda del museo. Medidas: 26,6 cm. de ancho por 33 cm. de alto. Contiene una dedicatoria manuscrita por su hija mayor, con tinta, en sentido diagonal, cuyo texto versa así: “A la distinguida Señora Victoria S. de Vicuña Mackenna, recuerdo afectuoso. Delfina Mitre de Drago. Buenos Aires, Septiembre de 1910”.
