Barrel PADLOCK
Description
English: Cast copper-alloy barrel padlock (Type C). Moulded zoomorphic case, probably representing a horse with much damage to the head and legs. Moulded ridges across the withers and half-way down the back. Evidence for three rectangular holes for entry of bolt. Silver/grey patina. An almost identical example was found at Winchester (Biddle 1990, 1010, no. 3665 fig. 313)
