Deutsch: Das Barockportals aus Sandstein mit seinen Torflügeln aus Eichenholz stammt vom ehemaligen Tuchhandelshaus Kind, welches sich bis 1993 an der heutigen Robert-Koch-Straße befand. Es entstand im Spätbarock, um 1779 wurde es errichtet. Das "K" in der Kartusche ist der Anfangsbuchstabe des Namens der ehemaligen Besitzer. Als einst ein reiches Handelshaus schmückte es seit 1779 den Eingang des damaligen Gebäudes. Die Zeit nach 1990 hatte für solche historische Bergungen nicht immer Verwendung und somit war manches oftmals ‚dem Schicksal des Verfalls ausgesetzt. Es lag bereits auf einem Berg Schutt, denn das Handelshaus fiel 1993 dem Abrissbagger zum Opfer. Geschichtsbewusste Bürger bargen die zwölf Sandsteine. Auch die mit Schnitzerei versehenen Torflügel blieben auf diese Weise erhalten und wurden auf Initiative eines Handwerkers geborgen. Bis 2009 schlummerte das Portal auf einem Wiesengelände, die Eichentore in einer
Tischlerei. Als das Portal der Pulsnitzer Heimatverein e.V. ausfindig machte und barg, war es in schlechtem, aber nicht irreparablen Zustand. Es fand einen neuen Platz hinter dem Haus des Gastes. |
