Description Label stop in Barnsley Cemetery, on Cemetery Road, Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The two Gothic Revival chapels were designed by Perkin & Backhouse, completed in 1861, and demolished in 1983. The arcade between them survives. The arcade, the mortuary and lodge, and the gateway, are Grade II listed structures. All stone carving of 1861 is by Mawer and Ingle. Most of the carving is weathered to some extent. Showing label stop in form of pea plant with pod and flower, on arcade.
