Description

Grade I listed. Dates from Saxo-Norman period, but mostly Norman and Early English. there is a narrow round-headed 11th C. window with monolithic lintel bearing a carved lion Originally it had a north aisle, which was removed in the 18th C. The south porch was removed in the 19th C. The nave is of 3 bays and has a west gallery. There was once a Norman lead font, now removed. The Church is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust (since 1972), and is in a somewhat poor state of repair.

The church was locked.
