| Description |
English: Barn between Giant Hill and Giant's Head Giant Hill is a steep-sided promontory projecting southwest from a chalk ridge. This barn stands at the side of a large arable field on the top of the promontory as it flattens out before Giant's Head. Just behind the barn's leftmost upright is a four-way fingerpost, marking the intersection of a public footpath (along the edge of the field) and a bridleway (across it). Depicted in typical winter weather - chilly with a fine mist of rain/fog, much worse here on the hilltop than down in the valley. |
