Deutsch: Postkarte, undatiert (ca. 1914). Titel: "Schwebebahn Barmen-Elberfeld-Sonnborn-Vohwinkel. 3 Bahnen-Kreuzungspunkt an der neuen Sonnborner Brücke." Neue Sonnborner Eisenbahnbrücke (1911/1914 errichtet), Schwebebahn Barmen-Elberfeld-Vohwinkel (1901 eröffnet, 1929 umbenannt in Wuppertaler Schwebebahn) und Kleinbahn der Straßenbahnlinie Benrath – Hilden – Haan – Vohwinkel (1899 von Hilden bis Vohwinkel als Teilstrecke des sogenannten Benrather Netzes der Actiengesellschaft Bergische Kleinbahnen eröffnet, 1911 von der Stadt Düsseldorf übernommen und an die Rheinische Bahngesellschaft AG – heute Rheinbahn AG – verpachtet). Der Straßenbahnlinie wurde 1935 der Linienbuchstabe V (für Vohwinkel) zugeteilt. Sie wurde 1961 eingestellt. [1]. |
