English: Barmby Barrage, west of Barmby on the Marsh, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The barrage itself is just out of shot to the right (see other images for this square). This is the River Derwent, just before it flows into the Ouse. The barrage is necessary due to the tidal flows in the Ouse. |
