Summary
[edit]DescriptionBarley Bridge Weir - geograph.org.uk - 1715148.jpg |
English: Barley Bridge Weir At this very low water level (the surrounding fells were below freezing) one can see the very shallow rocky landing that awaits anyone kayaking this weir when the river level is up enough for the trip to "go". The guidebook describes it as a three metre drop, but surely that is an overestimate, especially when the river comes up, as there is then some depth of aerated water at the bottom. |
