Description The cry of this gecko can be heard just at the first hours of darkness during the hottest part of the dry namaqualand summer. Male call for females coming out of their burrows and emitting a polysillabic "tek-tek-tek" sound that fades to the end. They sound like little robotic demons laughing. I love the big eyes and the short snout that make them look like a baby T-rex!
