Description
English: Barki an all-purpose boat with reverse clinker technology. Fishing Barki are wider in respect of cargo Barki. Entirely nailed boat has protruding central plan on both stem and stern. Mainly used in Chittagong area of Bangladesh. Length of the boat varies from 20 to 40 haat.

Note: This scaled-down model of a traditional boat from Bengal (Bangladesh and West Bengal) was crafted by Swarup Bhattacharyya and Anupurba Banerjee using wood, metal, and cloth. I express my appreciation to both of them for granting me permission to photograph and share their work on Wikimedia Commons for free use. -- BG.
