Summary
[edit]DescriptionBarker dam trail flooded after rainfall (32561926930).jpg |
NPS/Hannah Schwalbe Flooded trails are not a common occurrence in Joshua Tree National Park. If you want to hike a flooded trail, we ask that you still walk on trail instead of moving around the water. Usually, as in the case in these photos, the water is very shallow and will not soak your shoes. Walking around the trail negatively affects vegetation. If you do not want to hike on flooded ground, we encourage you to find a drier trail. |
