English: Barbican House and Bartholomew House, Castle Gate, Lewes Taken from the top of Lewes Castle. Barbican House (centre if view) is the Headquarters of the Sussex Archaeological Society and also houses a museum and the society library. It has a fascinating collection of local historic and prehistoric items. Barbican House is the delightful three story town house in the foreground. |
