Title
Barbed and tanged flint arrowhead
Description
English: A barbed and tanged flint arrowhead of the Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age (2500 BC-1500 BC). The arrowhead is made from a semi-translucent milky grey-brown flint and has a squared tang with rounded barbs, one of which is damaged at the tip. The flint has been retouched by pressure flaking across all surfaces. The arrowhead is slightly smaller than many other examples of the type found on this database, e.g. ESS-3D3A23, SWYOR-2CB2F5.
