Title
Barbed & Tanged Flint Arrowhead
Description
English: Translucent dark grey flint making a barbed and tanged flint arrowhead, triangular in plan and lozenge shaped in profile and section. The arrowhead has been invasively retouched throughout on both the dorsal and ventral face (bifacially) with one short barb (the other having been broken or snapped off), that does not extend to the length of the central tang, but is instead at an oblique angle to the tang. The tang appears to display evidence of semi abrupt retouch. Nice piece of work, Where the right barb should be is a clean break, with the edges still appearing sharp, probabley post deposit damage.
