Barbarous Radiate of Carausius - obverse
Description
English: Copper-alloy Roman coin. Radiate (possibly a contemporary copy) of Carausius (AD 286-93) (Reece Period 14), Providentia standing left holding baton and cornucopiae. Coin has slightly worn surfaces and corroded edges. Measures 17.9mm diameter by 1.5mm thick. Weight = 2.32g. This coin has been considered for Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
