Barbarous Radiate of Carausius
Description
English: Copper-alloy Roman coin. Contemporary copy of a radiate of Carausius (AD 286-93) (Reece Period 14), unclear figure left. The coin has a black patina, possibly indicating a reasonable silver content. The surfaces are slightly worn. It measures 19.1mm diameter by 1mm thick and weighs 1.53g. This coin has been considered for Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
