DescriptionBaptismal certificate for Heinrich Weitz, Endicott, Washington, 1899 - DPLA - 78cd3eb98a6304a6629d6affe055d27f.jpg | This certificate was printed in German. A translation is as follows: upper middle says "In the name of the Lord, amen", followed by Baptismal Certificate and the scripture from Matthew 28:19. The handwriting is difficult to read but the baptism is for a son of Peter Weitz and his wife Maria, born on the 3 July 1899 in Colfax, Whitman County, Washington which is here certified by ? Weitz and ?, the Preacher in Endicott, Washington, 1899. Lower portion has "Let the little children come unto me." Research would suggest that the son was Heinrich Henry Weitz. His parents were Peter Weitz and Marie Elizabeth Bafus. Note: this name corresponds to the confirmation certificate (WCL0142). | |||||||||||
