English: Japanese and Americans line the street, shoulder-to-shoulder, watching as the 28th Annual American Day parade banner marches past in Misawa City, Japan, June 5, 2016. Events like these are important as they afford Misawa neighbors, American and Japanese alike, opportunities to interact in a relaxed environment specifically planned for building friendships.
