English: An 11-year-old boy is treated by Lt. Cmdr. Lu Le, a translator, and other members of a U.S. Navy Fleet Surgical Team from the amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1). Tarawa and embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (special operations capable) are conducting humanitarian assistance/disaster relief efforts in response to the government of Bangladesh's request for assistance after tropical cyclone Sidr struck their southern coast, Nov. 15. The Department of Defense effort is part of a larger U.S. response coordinated by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for international Development.
