| Description |
English: Established in 1869, the park is considered a historical part of town. In 1872, the land was tilled and trees were planted. U.S.-Dakota War hero, Jesse V. Braham, designed the first bandstand which was a platform. In 1913, the second bandstand was built. In 2002, the bandstand was restored to its original grandeur. During the summer months, the "Music in the Park" program features local bands that perform most Thursday evenings, and the Farmer’s Market is held during the day from
May to October. |
