DescriptionBand Chapel Allerton 1880 (6).jpg | Old St Matthew's Chapel, Chapel Allerton, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Replaced 1900 with the current St Matthew's church, and Old St Matthew's Chapel was demolished 1935. Between 1900 and 1935 it was used for meetings, then became unsafe. Carving in Old St Matthews was executed during the 1861-1863 re-fit by Mawer & Ingle. Showing the band from the Old Chapel, in 1880 at the Mission House. Rev. R.R. Kirby is in the back row. | ||||||
