Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus, Baltringen, Kreis Biberach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany Deutsch: Johannes dem Täufer gewidmeter Altar am Ostende des südlichen Seitenschiffs. Johannes wird dargestellt als Schäfer mit dem Lamm Gottes zu seiner Rechten (als Symbol für Jesus Christus), auf das der Mittelfinger der linken Hand zeigt, und einer Schäferschippe. Der Altar entstand um 1515 im Umkreis von Hans Leinberger. (Siehe Otto Beck: Kunst und Geschichte im Landkreis Biberach, 1985, ISBN 3-7995-3707-4, S. 80–81.) |
