At the outing of the Equipment Branch, Valuation Department, Fair View, on June ii About this time the five reel fishermen,wearing a look of satisfaction, made anappearance with the days catch, a mess ofsmall fish. Mother Barnes had his ca-mera and took a picture of the small fry, Imean the fish. When we all gathered for supper, Mr.Norton suggested we give three cheers forGilbert Murphy and present him with theswimming prize for his forethought andbravery in rescuing the little child. Thesuggestion was adopted unanimously. Thepoor fish game was played during ourevening repast. The object was to presenteveryone with a souvenir of the occasion.Skipper Norton received a toy boat.Shutte was made master of schooners andwarned to steer clear of bars, while BaldyBaker accepted a hair net. Someone wasknocking when they presented Turner witha little toy bull and Unk Wilson, thesmall tool man, with a hammer. We soon sang our supper down and justbefore our trip up the bay in the moonlight,Prince
