The pi ice wascrowded, and the audience would havebeen at least double had there been roomto seat them. As Bill Kennedy, chair-man of he Board of. Commerce, remarked,every man, woman and child n Parkersburgwanted o hear Daniel Willard talk. Ihe subject of Mr. Willards talk was a generaldiscussion of the transportation conditionsand the problems and difficulties of thecarriers. The meeting was to have been closedpromptly at 7.50 but at that time Mr.Willard was asked to continue liis talk.
