Dear Sir—This will acknowledgereceipt of your letter of November 19;also release of deed of trust given bymyself and wife to secure a loan fromiyour department. In the past eightyears I have pur-chased two homes with money bor-rowed from the Relief Department;both have now been repaid in full andI have a clear title for the property. Will say that I think the Baltimoreand Ohio Relief Departments planfor assisting employes in purchasinghomes is the best plan, as the loan ispaid in monthly installments by de-duction from wages, the same as pay-ing rent, and is hardly missed. Thanking you for past favors, Iremain, Yours very truly, (Signed) Curtis Higinbotham,Conductor, Fairmont, W. Va. i8 Baltimore and Ohio Magazine, March, ig22 ¥
