Text Appearing Before Image:
theRoad come in contact, give them anitinerary for short trips, based on theamount of time available, makingallowance for possible delays, andmaking as few changes of cars aspossible so as to prevent our patronsfrom going astray. Our employes spare no trouble inhelping passengers who are timid andunacquainted with the city. Notlong ago a woman passenger, stop-ping off here after banking hours andhaving very little money with her, wished to have a check cashed. Oneof our women employes located anacquaintance of the passenger, whoidentified the traveler at one of thenight banks. The employe con-sumed about two hours of her owntime in doing this and merely feltthat she had done her duty. Shehas also, on several occasions, es-corted girls to their destinations, when she considered them in need ofprotection. We believe such help on our partto be otur duty to our fellows, and atthe same time we know that it en-courages passengers to use our Roadagain. 22 Baltimore and Ohio Magazine, May, iq2I
