Not to be outdone by her Chinese triends,Mrs. J. B. Blair, in the dress of a Japanesedancing girl, made a pronounced hit mthall who were fortunate enough to see her. The Yum Yum of Lillian Schley andthe Lady Baltimore of Mrs. Hergenroederwere perfect, while the Gypsy representedby Mrs. vStier carried us back to our youngerdays when we sat by the country roadsideand watched the roaming bands pass by.She was accompanied by her sister, Mrs. E.T. Stevens, and her father, Geo. R. DeFalcon, who helped so much to give us apleasant day at the shore last summer.Hubby was on hand too, but we could notpick him out, although Mrs. Stier insisted weshould. A Spanish Beauty was represented byMrs. Wiebking in splendid style, while theChinese Mandaiin of Mr. Lewis wes soperfect that no one could ascertain who itwas until masks weie removed.
