In lieu of the second main, presentpassing siding, extending from Johnsonto Tadmor, a distance of six miles, willbe duplicated on the new line at the ex-pense of the Conservancy District. Thenew Une is approximately twenty-seven feet longer than the old, andthe Conservancy District willjmakean allowance to the Railroad of anamount to cover additional trans-portation expenses on tliis addedlength. The fact that a newly con-structed line involves increasedmaintenance cost is also recognizedand the Conservancy District willmake allowance to the Railroad forsuch costs during the first six yearsof operation. The estimated cost of the entireToledo Division relocation is $1,360,-g 000, of which the Baltimore and^ Ohio will pay $150,000, covering^ betterments in the new line over> the old.
